I never cared before. Perhaps... that is odd to hear, from a human perspective. But... we were given to different owners at times, and we would be separated. I did not mind very much, but... I learned recently that he missed me very much when I was gone.

I suppose now that he is the one taken away... I have been finding it much more difficult to breathe.
