[Horrifying is the first word that comes to mind when she stops to consider what they've all just seen. Still, for as much as it makes her ache, there are people she's more worried about. The younger inhabitants of this place, for one, or those who seem particularly kind. Escha fits neatly into both of those categories, and maybe that's why Beck approaches her as she sees her in the kitchen.
She isn't sure how to begin this conversation in a natural way, but:]

Mostly... family. That's what really interests me, I guess. And - yoga, at least the kind I teach, is a kind of exercise. It's about using different poses to make yourself stronger and more flexible... It's meant to be calming, too. I could show you sometime if you wanted.
Family, huh...? I would love to read stories about family. My mom used to write stories for me when I was a kid, but I don't think she was very good at it.

[ When Escha comes to answer the door, it's with dragging feet and tears still obviously running down her cheeks. She wipes at them, and seems too out of breath to actually give a greeting proper.
So she just nods instead, and steps out into the hall. ]
[It's a while before she visits, actually, and it's because she's walking in with a plate of cookies. It seems paltry compared to what's happened, but...]
