And then...there's the subject of Carlos and he just kind of nods.] ...yeah, he is. [His expression little softer at that.] He doesn't always pay attention to the obvious things around him, but he's good at his job and he's good at taking care of other people. In that way, it's almost not surprising he's a host.

[There's a small giggle, but she nods.]

[She pulls away carefully, even though the hug is nice. It's a little weird to talk when she can't see his face, especially now that the conversation is moving in this direction.]

[It gets a grin out of him, at least.]

...it's the same for me, you know? You're one of the reasons I can even stay optimistic in a place like this.
