[She pulls away carefully, even though the hug is nice. It's a little weird to talk when she can't see his face, especially now that the conversation is moving in this direction.]
I don't know about that. I think you would have handled it.
Ah...yeah. One of the people anyway. [Let's not talk about that.] It leapt at my face, Beck. I barely had time to react. Don't sell yourself so short when it comes to something like this.
[Don't embarrass him!! He doesn't want to agree but he thinks disagreeing wouldn't really be useful either so he settles on a half-shrug before moving right along.]
It would have been kind of amazing if you think about it. You're also one of the people I got along with pretty much right away. [There's a light laugh.] Think about all of the stuff we could've done together if we were just back home and living a normal life. But nothing says we can't do that when we get back anyway, does it?
