[After the trial concludes, she heads out onto the deck for some air. She isn't intending to use the pool or the hot tub, but when she sees Junpei sitting near the latter... She heads his way, taking a seat beside him.]
...Hey. I hope I'm not, like, intruding on your alone time.
[He has his feet in the water and his jeans rolled up to his knees, leather jacket wrapped around his body and hands in his pockets. He looks up when he hears Beck though, giving her a soft smile that doesn't match most of his usual expressions from the last week.]
You're one of the few people that's never an intrusion, Beck. [He scoots over if she wants to join him.]
[A nod.] I was sure when I went to talk to Chuuya about the camera and the vote. I just had to figure out a way to convince other people. And now...[And now they're exorcise a teenage girl. ]
[He doesn't reply, but he's slightly biased. He can concede that things are awful for both of them, but...well, he knew one of them better than the other.]
What, the exorcism? Most likely. And we're all supposed to be there and we don't get a choice. Can't say I'm lookin forward to that either way.
...fair enough. [And he goes silent, kicking the water still. He's still trying to think of what to say, but sometimes that means getting stuck in his own head. His mouth twists like he's going to say something, but ultimately he stares at his feet.]
...at least the week's almost over. We can figure out where to go from here.
...Beck, I'll be honest. I don't really know what to say. [And that bothers him. He spent the whole day knowing beat for beat where to go, but now that they're here and now that they're dealing with a new situation, he's lost again.]
week one, saturday.
...Hey. I hope I'm not, like, intruding on your alone time.

Hm... Good to know. I'll make sure to bother you at any time, then.
[Anyways.]
You did good today.
[Not always easy to watch, but - good.]
no subject
...you think so? [A mild comment, but there's also a tiny, pleased smile. This is bad but...it's also good.]
no subject
[She nods.]
You seemed sure a long time before I was, at least.
no subject
You okay? You seemed kinda close to her.

[She looks down at the water.]

[...] Tomorrow's gonna be rough on a lot of people, too.

[She sighs, even as she nods.]
Do you think it'll be like last time?
no subject
What, the exorcism? Most likely. And we're all supposed to be there and we don't get a choice. Can't say I'm lookin forward to that either way.

[Bad.]

We don't know that it isn't true, either way. She isn't - gone. I talked to her.

We'll be able to separate it from her, I think. It's going to be a problem figuring out what to do it once we have it trapped.
