...Right. I kind of wonder why we came here in the first place, though. Like - obviously the demons want us here so they can mess with us, but they weren’t here in the first place. If it was the people who came here before us... I’ve been told they don’t like us, so why bring us?

Is there some third party we don't know about? That'd make sense, right? Someone who's got a vested interest in getting rid of this demon, that's on our side.

Well... If it was just the demon, why give us any sort of edge? What's the point of this crap with the trials and the rules? Demons are supposed to be about chaos and shit, aren't they?
