When I heard it, it was like... I got angry, you know? The person who I heard wouldn't say something that kind to me. But he was someone I grew up with, so I kind of grew up thinking that nobody would be that kind to me. And for a pretty long time, it's been true that I've just been disappointed or hurt by people I've trusted.

[It might be a little more clear by now where she's going. Still, as she gives his hand a squeeze:]

[It really is a difficult thing, to catch Wei Wuxian off his guard enough that he can't fully hide the emotions that filter through him. But there's a soft sort of surprise on his face, now - maybe something briefly brittle.

It's a sincerity that speaks to him, and one that hurts, just a little. All the same, he reflexively squeezes her hand back.]

[Beck is the literal best and he's just laughing with a little twinkle in his gremlin eye.]

Less, actually! Depending on who uses it and in what context, it could mean that they have no respect for you at all, or that you're both very close! I'd hope it's the latter, though.
