Ah--haha, no, it's fine. I just wanted to clean them up a bit and wash out the blood - they don't hurt! Not really. Should be alright if I keep it all wrapped properly.
[The life and times of Wei Wuxian, who has an extremely high pain tolerance and only Ye Olde first aid knowledge... He'll just start wringing his sleeve out while he talks.]
At the beginning, though - well, Higekiri, Kagachi and I decided to have a look around, see if there was anything interesting we could find. There's a lot of talk about finding out the secrets behind this place, you know? [And he's a very proactive person UNFORTUNATELY.]
We went down to that big room on the right side of the second basement and I was able to open it by playing it a song. Inside was a room full of - games? But not like the card games! There were flashing lights all over the place and music was playing nonstop. There were some glass cases near the front- [claw machines] -and that's where our little soft toy friends came from...
[He absolutely does not and neither did the other two so IT SURE WAS A TIME.]
Ah, do you? What is it? Never seen anything like it before. [Naturally... Though at the question he just laughs an incredibly dry laugh.]
It was fun at first, but we did seem to find ourselves led to some particularly nasty games! [They had demons in them probably!!] There was a note inside one of those glass cases that showed us each to a different one, and we were meant to play until we had won, or something like that. Everyone had a bit of a time with it.
[He reaches forward, patting at the bite on his shoulder.]
My souvenir! [TERRIBLE HUMOR.] I was given a game where I had to shoot at fierce corpses on a screen, but any time one got past me, it felt as if I was actually being attacked.
[He was like || this close to getting ghost vored but fortunately his stupidly good aim saved him.]
Hah, well, I'd hope it wouldn't be. Is it named, like the aquarium?
[So they he can call it by name instead of being like THE FLASHY LIGHTS BINGO DEMON DEN WITH SKINAMAJIGS IN IT.
He also feels a little guilt for making her concerned... Helpfully(???) he pulls his robes back up, obscuring his new battle prizes from view.]
They all came from that one game, though we did have to play another after. Not entirely sure what it was supposed to be, though? All we had to do was put our hands and feet on different colored dots on a board.
[He left uno bloody handprint behind but Kagachi had to balance on a fractured wrist, rip Kagachi.]
[Little do they know rng spared them all from twisty injured pain and/or a threesome because of horny cursed touching.]
Can't say I get it either, honestly! Especially compared to those first games we played, it seemed so benign. Ah - though Kagachi had a bit of trouble just because he kept getting his hands and feet put in strange places.
I mean he ended up getting all crossed over himself and bending over backwards because of where it told him to put his feet and hands! Higekiri and I just got things all in a row.
[ie Kagachi was the only one who had to play the damn game.]
Fortunately not! [He says this but only Kagachi would have been really sol in that situation, god.] I suppose if the game went on any longer that might have been a risk, but it was fairly short.
That was it for me. Kagachi and Higekiri had their own games to play before Twister, but that's what took up the bulk of our time - those games. ...Ah, and the dolls.
Oh, they did, and it was very cute! They tried to climb up my legs and beat me with their tiny little fists! Haha, I wonder if they know they're just made of fluff.
Not sure they'd be much good even domesticated! They're nice and soft, but most animals are, and they won't keep you up at night saying strange things.
Haha, true! Though it's a bit of a refreshing change to see things running toward me instead of away, for once. Most animals don't seem to enjoy me for some reason!
[It's because he BULLIES THEM MERCILESSLY.]
In any case, I'm sure everyone would rather see them gone, and the sooner the better.

I know the kind of place you’re talking about. But... Given this place [and the cursed toys], I’m guessing it was a little more intense?

[The look she's giving him is clearly sympathetic, concerned. She takes in a breath.]
Is that where the scratches came from, too, or did something else happen after all of that...?

[She frowns, though, and tilts her head.]
And that game is Twister, but that doesn't seem so bad... I mean, I guess it can be kind of embarrassing.

What do you mean by strange...?

Oh, no. None of you touched each other, did you?

[She nods, though.]
I wonder if it'll be like the tattoos, where they're gone after a week.
no subject
Hahaha, I'm more of a rabbit person, myself...!
[But yes good let's talk about the cursed effects and nonsense instead.]
I'm hoping that may be the case. It does seem like things start from fresh every Monday, doesn't it?
no subject
[Somehow, rabbits aren't the first animals to come to mind for him. Still!]
Yeah. But, honestly, I would take those toys over both effects we've gotten so far.
no subject
[A TERRIBLE MAN but at least it's clear from his tone that he's (probably) joking...]
I'd have to agree with that, though. Think we could ask for a trade next week?
no subject
Yeah, we'll march right up to the demons with our best negotiating tactics.
