It's to literally be a symbol. Something that can give people hope, something to believe in when the world isn't always... easy for that. No one wakes up after tragedies and keep going because it's ingrained in them to believe the best in the world. It's something they have to work for, every day. Part of my job's to help people think it's worth it.

Me, too. It was... nice to see. It was like a reminder of how good things can be, you know? I think it must be a little bit like the reason you all wear those symbols. So - I get it.

Yeah. It was... from when I was a kid. I've thought about that day since then, but thinking about it is different than seeing it, you know? And feeling it.

Yeah. It was... a bad time for me overall, but - there were good times, too.

There was this day where I woke up and I smelled pancakes cooking. I was probably ten. I came downstairs, and Dad seemed... almost normal. He was making breakfast for all of us, and he let me help him. The radio was on, and my brother, sister and I were all singing along while we helped. It's pretty simple, but seeing it again, it's like - I forgot how much one good thing could mean in the midst of all that, you know?
